Belmont Rugs is a husband and wife team that enjoy fine hand-crafted rugs.  We have purchased many rugs for our own homes and as we did so, we discovered some amazing sources.  Belmont Rugs is  based out of Charlotte, NC. Our vision is to offer the same rugs we enjoy to the public at reasonable prices. 

We specialize in high-quality, authentic imported hand-knotted rugs and runners at reasonable prices that can be shipped to your door.  We hand select authentic antique/vintage rugs in various styles and colors from Persia, Turkey, Caucasus, Afghanistan, and South Asia.

We obtain our rugs at the most competitive prices directly from the countries of origin or from large wholesalers within the US.  Sourcing our rugs from select vendors and bypassing the cost of retial space allows us to price our rugs very competitively.  Typically our rugs are priced at 50% of retail or appraised value.

We can ship any rug to any location within the continental United States.  We have negotiated contracts with USPS, UPS, and FEDEX - we shop each of these when shipping to provide the lowest charges possible.

All of our rugs have been washed, stretched and professionaly packaged before being shipped to us.   Even though most of our rugs are older than 20 years, they are mostly  in "like new condition".  Some of the older rugs may have wear or “distress” , if so we will outline this clearly in the description and photos.

We offer wholesale pricing for bulk quantities and will require a Tax ID number for the buyer’s business.   We can offer discounts for retail customers that purchase multiple rugs.
